I'm not sure that we can go even this far. Language was probably not
born in a day. I can easily see langauges arising independently. So
I'm still skeptical of Proto-World, and even Nostratic. My gut
instinct is that Proto-Afroasiatic, Etruscan (and its relatives), and
Proto-Indoeuropean are related, but I don't think the evidence is
there yet.
