Gerry:
How does what Tristan said in any way justify your so-called thesis? He told you he was being sarcastic when he said Sumerian was a myth. And, yes, Sumerian was a language isolate, too! Sheesh!!!

Origin of the Sumerian language
Great. Then it completely justifies my thesis that there is NO Sumerian Language.

I was not being serious!! Some people call sarcasm the lowest form of
humor, but that still makes it a form of humor. 'No' itself might not be
a witticism in all cases, but had I just said 'No.' and naught else, or
'No, it's all just a myth.', or 'No, we're just trying to confuse you.',
then it probably is one.
Miguel Carrasquer put it nicely:
MC> It's an old principle of logic: from a falsehood (contradiction)

MC> Just because you ask three, erh, what's that weasel word... well,

Now, I don't mean to stop you believing what you wish, unless that
belief involves me. If you think Sumerian is all just a myth or has been
made up, go ahead. If you think you have evidence to support that
belief, the more power to you. On the other hand, I'm sure you could
argue that English has been made up and that I don't exist. But don't
think for a minute that I agree with you just because I made a sarcastic
comment.
