Greenland no (they have home rule and are getting more independence).
Faroe islands no (but there is a strong independence movement). Both
are (as Iceland until 1943) part of det danske rige (translates as
the Danish Empire, but without the Emperor; the German
cognate 'Reich' doesn't sound so nice.
