Why would I be pulling your leg Piotr? I was
taught (likely with wrong information) that Ireland was part of the United
Kingdom. If the south (Ireland) seceded from the United Kingdom, then
it must be an autononymous region. As an American, I'm new at this
stuff.

are autonomous (self-governing) territories within the Kingdom of Denmark. You
could call them semi-independent.
As for "Southern Ireland", better
