Hi Folks

The idea that the Scots descended from the Scythians or Samratians is
a medieval idea wen there was an attempt to trace all known people
back to the sons of Noah. Ashkenaz became a "catch all" for Celtic
and Germanic people, who were of course, unknown to the Writers of
the Biblical Book of Nations at the period between 720 and 627 BCE
(When this table was probably composed).
