Ok, the acc.pl. has Szemerényi lengthening too (*-o:ns), so we cannot tell
whether it was originally **-o-om-s or **-o-m-s. Note that the *-s itself does
not drop (unlike nom. *-s after a resonant), because it's not the same kind of
*s (nom < *-z, pl. < *-sW).
