The etymology of Tbilisi isn't mysterious at all.

Tbilisi means 'warm place' in Georgian. If you go there you'll
see that it's surrounded on three sides by mountains, and
because of that, on a summer's day when there's no wind, you'll
realise why it's called that. Treat everything on those 'bible
believers' sites with a healthy dose of scepticism. They don't
believe in scientific method by definition.

The Iverians have nothing to do with the Iberians either.
