Glen, Kees et. al,

"In its origin language belongs in the age of the most rudimentary
form of psychology. We enter a realm of crude fetishism when we
summon before consciousness the basic presuppositions of the
metaphysics of language, in plain talk, the presuppositions of
reason."

The above quote is from Nietzsche.  It places language-origins in the realm of psychology.  Pertaining to the quesion I asked of Kees (on AAT):  is Nostratic composed of all languages or is it simply a hypothetical construct?  And what of the different ethnic groups that speak a given language?  Glen does claim his Nostratic system is hypothetical.  Does he also attach ethnic groups to their languages?
