I already have my own name, "Proto-Boreal", but this
includes
UralicYukaghir as well. It would be a subbranch, together
with
AltaicGilyak and IndoTyrrhenian, of the "Proto-Steppe" grouping
(Bomhard's
"Eurasiatic").
Nothing wrong with Danny Wier's
Sibero-American. It's geographically contemporary with a with a wave at
past political disconent.
