One thing I noticed about ABs
methodology is that he seems to use less "wildcard" symbols for his
phonemes. (A "wildcard" meaning a capital letter notation, such as V for
the unknown vowel or K. for velar or uvular ejective). Compare that
to Dolgopolskys rather frequent use of capital letters, especially his
infamous *K.ERV reconstruction from his upcoming dictionary.
