We are glad to invite you to the Nostratic Forum which will be
devoted to discussing matters of Nostratic linguistics.
The problem of Proto-language macrofamilies is one of the most
arguable points in today's linguistics. The matter is that certain
language families definitely have much in common: this can be a
result of their common origins which took place several thousand
years ago. But the questions are still much more numerous than the
answers:
What are the members of the macrofamilies?
What did the Proto-language of the macrofamily look like?
How can we reconstruct the original condition of the Proto-language?
I hope all these questions, and many others like these, will be
discussed here for the purpose of the new discoveries in linguistics.
