There is a rune converter online but how good it is i don't know, i'm pretty sure that it converts the English into the best semblance in runic writing rather than into the old tongue. I found it by typing 'rune convertor' into google but forgot to copy the link before coming back to this page (doh)

 

 With regards to the learning of the language i'm currently taking a break as, as with yourself Rob life is just too hectic for study although i'm attempting some Icelandic vocabulary building when i get the chance as i'm led to believe that it's the most closely related language still in use to the old Norse and as the old language was one of speach and inflection rather than writing i think this is a good place to start.
