The rest of the sleeve is images from Viking age Picture Stones, mainly from Denmark, so after taking Brians advice, i contacted Jackson Crawford, who gave me a copy of his Younger Futhark font, and also tried to give me some advice, but he is clearly well clued up, and as i have no knowledge yet of Old Norse, what he was saying, was confusing hell out of me, lol. It was almost like reading a letter from a solicitor, haha. 

He recommended, to keep it authentic to the Viking age images, mainly from Denmark, and the Runes are going around the images in a snake as in the picture stones, it would be best if they were kept Old Danish, but as he did know Old Danish he said an Early Old Norse circa ca .1000 would likely be very close to Old Danish from around ca. 800. He said The Translation Brian gave me was good, and only recommended changing the 1st line, to something more in line with an OLDER generation of Old Norse. 

We also had to change a few letters to make the Younger Futhark Font appear correct, ie no double letters, and sometimes had to use a capital letter rather than a lower case letter for the the right rune.

I have emailed him back about final translation and what the original says, and hopefully he will make it easy for me by sending me an image of how the runes should appear, else i may end up bald, lol. 

Ill post here once he gets back to me later tonight.  

So you can see the results.

There's no such website I could recommend that would do it accurately. But doing it letter by letter wouldn't give you the right results either. But what I suggest is that you give me whatever Old Norse you want transliterated, and I could put it in the younger futhark for you. I know all the conventions and styles of younger futhark runes.

Also...can anyone recomend a website that can convert the Old Norse into Younger Futhark Runes? or is it a case of getting a list of the younger futhark runes, and doing it letter by letter. I want the younger futhark runes as they are the runes in use during the Viking era.

I really need to find time and try learn this amazing language of our Nordic Ancestors
