Síðan lét Höskuldur taka gullhring Hákonarnaut, hann vó mörk, og sverðið konungsnaut er til kom hálf mörk gulls og gaf Olafi syni sínum og þar með giftu sína og þeirra frænda, kvaðst eigi fyrir því þetta mæla að eigi vissi hann að hún hafði þar staðar numið.

Olafur tekur við gripunum og kvaðst til mundu hætta hversu Þorleiki líkaði.
