Oinn was the most angry, drew (his) sword and wanted to strike at Utina, son of Java.
En Þrípíó kvað, "Bokki sæll," segir hann til Lúki, "Sjá inn lágvaxni maðr þar es maðr hagr við járn ok tré; vit vÇrum áðr samþrælar.
But 3P0 said, "My dear fellow," says he to Luke, "The short-of-stature man there is a skillful man with iron and wood; we were previously fellow slaves.
Ok væri hann ódýrari en áðr, ef Útíni Javason óttisk reiði frænda þíns."
And he was cheaper than others, if Utini, son of Java, is anxious about wrath of your relatives."
Sjá inn lágvaxni maðr vas Artú Dítússon, bróðir hans.
See the short-of-stature man was R2, son of D2, his brother.
"Óinn frændi," segir Lúkr, "Kaup þenna inn lágvaxna mann."
"Kinsman Oinn," says Luke, "Buy this, the short-of-stature man."
Óinn gørði svá, ok þeir Dítússynir fylgðu Lúki Anakinssyni heim.
Oinn did so, and they, D2's sons, accompanied Luke Anakins' sons home.
"Eigi þessu gleym," segir Þrípíó bróður sínum, "Ok fyr hví bjargaða ek þér? Þú ert heiðinn sem þeir."
"Don't forget this," says 3P0 to his brother, "And why did I save you? You are heathen as they (are)."

Þrípíó heyrði orð hans ok segir, "Fæ ek þér holpnum, bokki sæll?"
3PO heard his words and says, "Can I help(?) you, my dear fellow?"
"Já víst," segir Lúkr, "Ef Hvíta-Kristr þinn hefir þér gefinn þann krapt, at þú kannt at skunda tíð, eða at veita mér vængi, svá at ek má komask undan steini þessum."
"Certainly," says Luke, "If your White-Christ has given you the power, that you can hasten time, or to grant me wings, so that I may escape this stone."
"Nei, bokki sæll," segir Þrípíó, "Ek em prestr en engi fordæðumaðr.
"No, my dear fellow," says 3P0, "I am a priest but no sorcerer.
Ok satt at segja, veit ek eigi, hvar á Íslandi ek em."
And to tell (the) truth, I don't know, where in Iceland I am."
Lúkr kvað, "Ef þat es dalr á Íslandi, þar es má sjá hlíð fagra, bleika akra, ok slegna tún it eruð í dal þeim, es liggr í þeim strta fjarska frá."
Luke state, "If that is a vale in Iceland, there is can see a beautiful mountainside, pale corn fields, and a (slegna?) enclosure it is in that vale, which lies the most afar off from (here)." (Z. fjarski, m. far distance; vera (liggja) í fjarska, to be (lie) afar off

And Luke says, "I am-named Luke Anakinson."
"Ek heiti Þrípíó Dítússon, ok sjá maðr es bróðir minn, Artú," mælti Þrípíó.
"I am-named 3P0, D2's son, and that man is my brother, R2," said 3P0.
