"Þá myndi yðr margt um finnask," segir Gríðó, "Ef ér hefðið allan þann, sem ér eiguð, en nú fór þat fjarri.
"Then you would much like," says Grido, "If you had all that, as you owned, but now far from it. (Z. fara 6 - fjarri ferr þat, far from it, by no means)
Es it miklu meiri hlutr, es Hani dregr undir sik.
That is much more wealth, that Han (dregr?) under himself.
Hann sendr yðr at gjÇ«f bjórskinn þrjú, en ek veit víst, at hann hefir eptir þrjá tigu þeira, es ér eiguð, ok hygg ek, at slíkan mun hafi farit um annat.
He sends to you a gift of three bearskins, but I certainly know, that he has after 30 of them, which you own, and I think, that similarly would (hafi = have?) gone concerning other.
En nú hefi ek fregnat, at hann es farinn til Íslands með mikit fé, es hann vill selja þar, en eiguð ér allt þat.
And I have now heard, that he has gone to Iceland with much wealth, which he will sell there, but you own all that.
Satt mun þat, konungr, ef þú fær skipit hans it góða í hÇ«nd mér, at meira fé skal ek fra þér."
True will that, king, if you deliver his ship, the good one, in my hands, that more wealth shall I get you."
En allt þat, es Gríðó sagði á hendr HólmgÇ«ngu-Hana, þá bÇru förunautar hans vitni með honum.
And all that, which Grido said concerning Holmgongu-Han, then his companions bore witness with him.
Kom þá svá, at Jabbi konungr vas inn reiðasti.
(It) came then such: that King Jabba was the most angry.
"Fr mér," segir Jabbi konungr, "Skipit ok allt þat, es á es, en drep HólmgÇ«ngu-Hana Sólósson ok Tsiubakka inn fríska, ef þeir vili eigi koma fyr mér."
"Get me," says King Jabba, "The ship and all that, which is on (it), and kill Holmgongu-Han Solo's son and Chewbacca the Frisian, if the will not come before me."
XVIII. Kapítuli: Frá Leiu ok Dítússonum
About Leia and D2's sons
Kona hét Leia; hon vas Beilorganasdóttir, írsks konungs í Aldiransveitum.
A woman was-named Leia; she was Beilorgana's daughter, Irish king in Aldiransveit.
Við Beilorgana ok Falfaðni vas þat fátt, því at Falfaðinn Noregskonungr kvazk vesa Írlandskonungr ok, en hann herjaði þar víða í Aldiransveitum.
Between Beilorgan and Falfadinn that was cold, because Norwegian King Falfadinn declared himself to be Ireland's king also, and he harried there far and wide in the Aldiran Regions.
Þat v?ru margir h?fðingjar í m?rgum l?ndum, þeim es mislíkaði mj?k Falfaðinn konungr, en líkaði eigi vel Jabbi Danakonungr heldr.
It was many chiefs in many lands, they which didn't like very much King Falfadinn, and didn't like well Danish king Jabba either.
Fóru margir til nýja landa, beggja Færeyja ok Íslands ok Suðreyja ok Orkneyja ok Hjaltlands.
Many went to new lands, both (to) the Faroe Islands and Iceland and the Hebrides and the Orkney Islands and the Shetlands.
En herrinn Falfaðins vas mikill, ok hann átti m?rg herskip ok stór, ok hann herjaði l?nd þeira, es vildu eigi viðkenna einvald hans; hann lét drepa ok marga góða menn, ok þrælka aðra.
But Falfadinn's army was large, and he had many large warships, and he harried their land, who would not (viðkenna?) his sole-sovereinty; he also caused to be killed many good men and enslaved others.
Vas hann allóvinsæll konungr.
He was a very unpopular king.
En því at Falfaðinn konungr vildi kúga alla þá, es stóðu í móti honum, lét hann gøra it st?rsta skip, es menn h?fðu sét á sjóvum; helt þat skip svá m?rgum m?nnum ok v?pnum, at þeir máttu ræna allt þat, es vas í einni stórri borg, ok vas því skipi nafn gefit, ok hét þat Dauðastjarna.
And because King Falfadinn wanted to tyrannize over all then, who stood against him, he caused to be made the largest ship which men had seen at sea; that ship held so many men and weapons, that they were able to plunder all that, which was in one large city, was thus given (the) name to (the) ship, and it was named Deathstar.
