Kveðja Alan

Örn var til móts en mestur hluti manna mælti í gegn og kváðu Örn allan villast (verb, villa, refl, Z3)

Þótti þá úr skorið (skera) er Ólafur mælti þetta og réð Örn leiðsögu (leiðsaga) þaðan í frá.
(It) seemed then settled (skera ór, Z7) when Ólafr spoke this and Örn decided (the) direction from that point on.

Sigla þeir þá nætur og daga og hafa jafnan byrlítið.

Það var einhverja nótt að varðmenn hljópu upp og báðu menn vaka sem tíðast,
