VI. Kapítuli: Frá Jóðaspá (Chapter 6: Concerning Jóði's Prophecy)

It was in the days of Padme Ruvis' daughter, Queen of Thid, that King

they should go to a meeting with Palpatine and in Coruscantberg, ask him to
come to terms. Padme agreed to it.
En er skipit Paðému var búit, spurði Anakinn Víga-Óbívan, "Hvárt ek fæ komit
með ykkr Paðému?"
And when Padme's ship was ready, Anakin asked Slayer Obiwan, "May I come
with you (and) Padme?"
"Ekki er sú ætlun mín," mælti Víga-Óbívan, "Því at þú ert of ungr."
"That is not my intention," said Slayer Obiwan, "because you are of a young
age."
"En Kvæggan bað mik heita sér, at ek ok skyla hefna hans," segir Anakinn.
"But Kvaeggan bade me promise him that I also shall avenge him," says
Anakin.
Þá játti Víga-Óbívan þessu, at Anakinn skyli koma með þeim.
Then Slayer Obiwan agreed to this, that Anakin shall come with them.

"Through you, I can see," says Yoda, "Afraid to lose your mother, are you."
"Er þat mikilvænligt?" Segir Anakinn.
"Is it very promising?" says Anakin.
"Þat er it mikilvænligasta," kvað Jóði, "Því at ótti sær reiði, reiði sær

"It is most promising," said Yoda, "Because fear sows anger, anger sows
hatred, hatred sows torment."
Þá reiddisk Anakinn ok kvað, "Ekki em ek hræddr."
Then Anakin became angry and said, "I am not afraid."
