"Eptir gekk þat," kvað Jóðí, "er mér bauð hugr um, at þeir myndi engir sigrfǫr fara, er bǫrðusk við Falfaðin eldingaflug norðr á Mri.
After that went (after that happened???), stated Yoda, that I anticipated, that they would none make a victorious journey, who fought against Palpatine Lightning-flass north of Mori.
En slíkt sama mun þat vera satt, at Falfaðinn mun verða at miklum skaða mínum frændum.
But in-such-wise same (I assume this means "But similarly....") it would be true that Palpatine would be a great loss-of-life to my relatives.
En þú, Dúkú, munt ráða vilja athǫfnum þínum.
And you, Dooku, would advise wanting your business. (huh?)
Ekki óttumk ek þat, þóttú komir í sveit með hirðmǫnnum Falfaðins, at eigi þykkir þú hlutgengr eða jafn inum fremstum í ǫllum mannraunum.
I (óttumk???) not that, thought to come in that body-of-men with Palpatine's tenants, to not think you up-to-the-mark or equal to the foremost of all dangers.
Varask þú þat, at eigi ætlir þú hóf fyrir þér eða keppisk við þér meiri menn.
You become that, to not suppose you have previously (??) or exerted yourself agains more men.
En eigi muntu fyrir vægja at heldr."
And would not give way to one any-the-more.
Síðan gerðisk Dúkú handgenginn konungi ok gekk þar í hirðlǫg.
Then Dooku became the retainer to the king and walked there in the fellowship-of-the-king's-men.
Dúkú átti einn son.
Dooku had a son.
Hét hann Kvæggan.
He was called Kwag. (I am guessing there is a Star Wars name for this person, but it's not one I know.)
Kvæggan var þá átján vetra gamall, mannvænn ok gørviligr.
Kwag was then 18 years (lit. "winters") old, promising and accomplished.
Hann var gleðimaðr mikill, ǫrr ok ákafamaðr mikill í ǫllu ok inn mesti kappsmaðr.
He was very-much a cheery-man, open-handed and very fierce in everything and the greatest man-of-energy.
Var hann vinsæll af ǫllum mǫnnum.
He was popular with all men.
Jóði spurði svikráð Dúkús, sonar síns.
Yoda was-informed-about his son Duke's treachery.
Varð hann hryggr við þessi tíðendi, svá at hann lagðist í rekkju af harmi ok elli.
(It) happened he grieved over this news, so that he lay in bed of sorrow and old-age.
Kvæggan kom opt til hans ok talði fyrir honum, bað hann hressa sik, sagði, at allt var annat athæfiligra en þat at auvirðask ok leggjask í kǫr.
Kwag came often to him and tried to persuade him, asked him to cheer himself up, said that everything was one of the two was fitting and that at worthless and become bedridden.
"Er hitt heldr ráð, at vit takim oss landskosti ok bústaði á Íslandi.
(???) advice, that we take possession of land and dwelling places in Iceland.
Máttu menn þar nema sér lǫnd ókeypis ok velja bústaði."
Bold men claim unoccupied land there and choose dwelling places.
Staðfestisk þat helzt um ráðagerð þeira, at þeir myndi bregða búi sínu ok fara af landi á brott.
They were steadfast most especially about their plan (I am guessing at the meaning with the previous), that they would change their dwelling and go to land abroad.
Snimma um várit bjuggu þeir Jóði skip sín.
Early in (the) spring they made ready Yoda's ship.
Þeir hǫfðu mikinn skipakost ok góðan, bjuggu tvá knǫrru mikla ok hǫfðu á hvárum þrjá tigu manna, þeira er liðfærir váru, ok um fram konur ok ungmenni.
They had a great naval-force and good (???), prepared two large ships and each of the two had 30 men, who were able-bodied, and in addition (?) women and young men.
Þeir hǫfðu með sér lausafé allt, þat er þeir máttu með komask, en jarðir þeira þorði engi maðr at kaupa fyrir ríki konungs.
They had with them all (their) chattel, that (???), and their earth no man dared to buy before (the) king's rule. (???) [[Grace had something that made much more sense: "...but no man dared to buy their estates due to the power of the king."]]
En er þeir váru búnir, þá sigldu þeir í brott.
And when they were prepared, they then sailed away.
Þeir sigldu í eyjar þær, er Færeyjar heita.
They sailed in those islands, which are called Faroes.
Á þeiri ey, er hét Dagóba, gekk Jóði á brott ok kom aldrigi aptr til skips.
At that island, which was called Dagob, Yoda when away and never came after to (the) ship.
Kvæggan ferr þangat at leita, ok var Jóði allr í brautu.
Kwag went to-that-place to search, but Yoda was gone away.
Skipaði þá Kvæggan til at leita hans, ok fundu þeir hann eigi.
Then Kwag arranged to search for him, and they didn't find him.
