Would not "megin Þórs" be more correct for "The power of Thor"?

I'm sort of a newbie, so I'm just asking.

I may be able to do better after I think about it a bit more, but
for a first crack I might suggest

Þórs mátt hefr hverr er heldr hamar þenna, ef mættr sé.

Fairly literally, that's 'Whosoever holds this hammer has Thor's
might, if (he) be worthy'.
