Yes, You need a Character map - if you have Vista or even XP you go to
Start > All Programs > Accessories > Syayem Tools > Character Map

All the odd letters and signs you could want  all on one place
I fail to see the fuss about this or that keyboard when it is so
simple to use Alt + 0240 and get ð and any other
As often as I try to reply to a message on Norse Course my message
does not get through so I am Cc'ing to you privatelu

Hold Alt - and then do the figures from the extreme right habd of your key-board
You do not need a sp[ecial keyboard the old one will do

Subject: [norse_course] Keyboard Question

Microsoft's "Icelandic" keyboard setting has the thorn and the eth, but I'm not finding the long vowels.  Does everybody else just set up hot keys for these, or is there another keyboard setting that works better?

Thx,
