I'm looking for the sense of household. I.e., my wife, son, etc. In that sense, skuldalið is the correct one, then?

The other question is in terms of pronounciation. The "ð" character is a voiced "th", yes?

There is indeed a word <skuldalið> 'household, family';
there is also <skuldahjón> (or <skuldahjún>) . (By itself
<lið> can also mean 'family, household', though I've more
often seen it used in the senses 'people, a host' and
'troops'. <Hjón> ~ <hjún> is 'a member of a household', and
the plural <hjóna> is 'husband and wife'.)

<Ætt> seems to refer primarily to family in the sense of a
lineage, a kindred, one's ancestry. <Skuldalið> is probably
a better choice if the desired sense is closer to
'household'.
