Well that's Icelandic Google Groups (flokkar). I tested it with 'ollu
því' and 'öllu því' and it didn't come up with much either way. Here
is Google websearch (vefnum) with their Icelandic interface [
http://www.google.com/webhp?hl=is&q=&oe=UTF-8&tab=dw ], which seems to
work exactly the same as other national formats and makes no
distinction betweeen 'o' and 'ö'. I already tried the equivalent of
"Leita að vefsíðum á íslensku" (search for websites in Icelandic) in
the Advanced Search options from their English version, and that
doesn't distinguish them either. So I don't know... But while
searching for a way, I did happen across this sorry, but amusing, tale
