Yes to my mind it does - I study Seiðr when I am not learning O/N There is nothing Fishy about it - unless the Serpent - which encircles the Earth
Can be said to enchant it as well
Certainly in a kenning a serpent is to the Earth what a Fish is to the water
Kennings take - sometimes some getting used to - some getting your head round them
Ravens are Odinn's Swans
Soldiers are the "Trees of the Battlefield"
Believe me - it can only get more difficult
