Not a definitive answer, but here's a couple of possibilities that
occur to me (all corrections welcome...):

give me strength: styrk þú mik (styrktu mik)

grant me wisdom: veit þú mér vit (veittu mér vit)

There are plenty of other words that might be translated wisdom and
strength. I don't know enough to say which might be the best to use.
