Yes, the Scots word is probably from the Old English cognate 'cennan',
maybe reinforced by ON 'kenna'. CV cites this example under the first
definition, "to ken, know recognise". I think that 'nokkuð' might be
adverbial here, something like: "Do you by-any-chance recognise these
valuables?"
