Morten Axboe has just posted a link at Old Norse Net to scanned images
of Ólafur Brynjúlfsson's famous illustrated manuscript of the Eddas,
Ny kgl. S. 1867 4º, dated 1760.

Besides enjoying the pictures, I was interested to see that it
includes the late poem Gunnarsslagr, which Haukur put online here [

These are both present in Ólafur Brynjúlfsson's manuscript:

I also notice that the recurring formula `hlær mik' (with the sense of
`hlœgir mik') is spelt here `hle,ir', with a hooked e -- perhaps
indicating two syllables after all? Contrast `fe,tr' (ON fœtr) in the
first strophe.
