My situation is special: I'm french, but I couldn't find old norse
lessons in french language. It's ok, since my english isn't too bad.
Let's get to the point: I'm an author(unknown for now, I hope it will
change soon !), and I want to put some old norse sentences in a book
(what a strange idea !).
If I'm supposed to master old norse before being able to do that, my
book isn't going to be achieved soon ! Hopefully, it's just some short
sentences I need for that, so it won't be too hard.
But I still wonder if I must learn old norse, or just ask for some help.
I can find the word I need (I don't want other people to do this job
for me !). but for syntax, it's not that easy.
So... How should I write
"Mary's dress"
and
"Kingdom of France"
for example ?
No need to translate Mary, dress, kingdom and France, of course. Any
word is okay. What I really need is to learn how works the posssessive
form. It's ok if you translate me Anna's computer, instead of Mary's
dress (but I don't think you'll be able to find a word for computer :D ).
