In my CV it is given a meaning similar to the Old English Hente - and the word in Old Norse is Hendr - to catch my the hand - in that sense it is also used as - to take - in the way that you would "take" from a flock of Deer (or sheep) one you intend for dinner

What is hent? I keep coming up with befitting, but that doesn't seem to be
correct. If it is a verb, what is the infinitive?
