Hi there,
Just some tuning test.
You have Hangovers, but we nam it "þynnk'a" [think'a]
You have an opinion, outlook, we name that also "þykk'ja" [thick'ya]
You are sorry but, "okkur þykir það leitt".
sincerely (from inside) rather than seemingly (from outward)
Last night in a my dream it seemed to me like my mother were in my
room. Here we use also "mér þykir" seemingly
Í Nótt, í draumi þótti mér sem móðir mín væri í herberginu mínu.
My boy said "the school is bad, I don't like it".
I tell you that: my boy feels the school is bad.
Ég segi ykkur að stráknum mínum þykir skólinn slæmur/illur.
Það er staðreynd.
It is a fact.
Physically as well as emotionally realising in the mind really
rather than seemingly.
Thanks Uoden
