In my Icelandic-Icelandic dict. "Bleytur" (of wet) in landscape are
also named "KvikSandur". Yes it is quicksand: soft sand saturated
with
water.
torfærur: that are kind of obstacles. Torfæra is difficulty.
"tor" is prefix pointing to extreme difficulties.
"færa" to pass.
It is difficult to pass/cross them.

Þór could be spelled Tor the Latin/Norse way. That could be said
torRáðið : difficult to read/to resolve.
Þór and Tor do not rime. Þór and Thor do not rime either.
But Thor rimes with Þor (See guts). Rainbow I reckon rimes
with "Reinbó".
