Hi
From Skildi (Dat) we talk aboult Skjöld {acc.) So is the name is
Skjöld-ur (nom). We point to (Skjald-ar or) Skjöld-ss (gen. form)
In plural Here are Skild-ir (nom) we talk about Skild-i we say them
Skjöld-um (Dat) and we refer to Skjald-a (Gen.)
I know Skjöldur Skýlir gives shelter or protects.
We match Mær with Skjald(-a): Skjald-Mær.
Brögð plural from Bragð.
Has two major meanings. eitt Bragð is taste as flavor. verb: Bragða.
Bragð is (trick) scheme, deed as wrestling (see fangabrögð = glíma)
verb Bregða: to stumble or to startle.
Vél connected to brain as I have no example of that dead bodies can
vélað in the meaning deceive: A Man can véla innocent girl.
Vél they are also name for bird's tail that points to other bird's
brain. Vèl before spelled vjel. I reckon related to "vell" well.
Hvel of brain are its cavites. If H is of Hvel you have vel.
je rimes with yeah spelld today é. J is to be enlightener when í
comes consonat. í sounds as latin i, but as ee in english.
í means into or inside it is comparable to a pointer or as they said
an enlightener. If you take j out of vjel then you get vell (well).
vjel and vell have equal measure [metric). My speculations.
beita vélum skjalda
is to use "vél" of Shields.
We also connect ráð {advise) og vél that is vélráð : deceiving
advise.
