Recently I discovered a band called Ásmegin. It seems that on their
debut album (Hin Vordende Sod & Sø) they have about half of the songs
in Old Norse (or maybe Old Norwegian?) and the rest in modern
Norwegian. Because of their style (metal) not all of their lyrics are
completely discernable, but I thought some people here might be
interested.
I would also like to know what the experts thought of their
pronunciation, although this is probably hard to judge because it is
sung.
Anyways, it might be fun to translate their lyrics at least, I believe
the first few songs on the album are based off an old Norwegian play.
Or just enjoy their music, I quite like it :)
Of course purchasing the album is always recommended but I can upload
it if some wish..
