I write 'æ' by fyrst writing an 'a' and then I lift the pen and add a
half-circle on it in the right place. I write 'þ' in one move. I start at
the top and go down to the bottom, then draw the pen up to make a
clockwise circle. I write 'ð' in two moves, first I write a slanted 'd'
and then I add the stroke from bottom-left to top-right.
Interesting question, haven't thought about this for years and years.
Now practice writing out the word "þræða" :)
