Perhaps I explained myself but poorly, what I believe my Friend wanted to know, was did they have a meaning when written like that, I wondered if it was a way for example of writing the name Arinbjorn, which was the name of a Hersir, Thorolf's son I think I have it coreectly, at all events he was a friend of Egil Skallagrimsson,  is there a meaning attached to them that I;ve missed out. Thanks much LN for that link I can make good use of it.
