if I can have a guess too, the acc. of ‘skál’ would also be ‘skál’. I’ve
looked it up in a dictionary to see what the plural is: ‘skálir’ or ‘skálar’,
so it’s strong declension, therefore the sing. nom., acc. and dat. are the
same.
