It's usually not a question of 'font'.
If the following characters are displayed
correctly on your screen (fyrst accented
vowels, then o-umlaut and finally thorn
and eth) then you don't have any font problems.
á é í ú ó ý æ ö þ ð
One (slow) method you could use is copying characters
from the list above into the clipboard and
pasting them where you need them.
