Go to http://www.hi.is/~haukurth/norse/ and look at the items you find there. You will find some things to help you in your search for the right way to pronounce words (or - at least to not pronounce them wrong). In particular, look at the Articles and Recordings.

One of my friends got me interested into the Norse Language. I am
having one difficulty though and that is the sounds. I like reading
the text but I would also love to know if I am saying them right
before I memorize the words the wrong way.
