the nearest that I know of is normally translated as
Sun Coffee - celebrated on the first day the sun
reached a farm or community marking the end of the
dark, sunless winter. The day varies from place to
place usually in Jan/Feb. Mainly kept in the western &
eastern Fjords where the mountains are high around
deep valleys. Believe I found that on 'Virtually
Virtual Iceland a while ago.
