Yes, this is interesting and something I hadn't read.
The authors proclaim that the "10 mans" construction existed
in 14th century Swedish and not in the 19th century language.
What I find even more interesting is that "ok" in the sense of
"at" (ok fiske) is apparently testified in the 14th century
as well (but not in the 19th).
As for the physical testing of the stone I have no knowledge
and can't comment.
