Heil öll!

Óskar and I have recently become interested in something
called Wikipedia. It is an open-ended project to create
an open online encyclopedia. Anyone can edit any page!

Here, for example, is a link to a Wikipedia article I wrote
about names from Old Norse mythology:

http://www.wikipedia.org/wiki/Old_Norse_orthography

If you want to add anything, correct anything (or, well,
vandalize anything) all you have to do is click "Edit This
Page" and *poof* you're there. No registration necessary,
no moderator approval, no nothing. You don't even need to
know HTML - you can write plain text (there are some simple
formatting instructions you can use).

And, no, I won't be offended if you change my article.
Any change you make will probably be an improvement.
That's the general spirit of the project.

Here are a couple more pages you might be interested in:

http://www.wikipedia.org/wiki/Norse_mythology
http://www.wikipedia.org/wiki/Old_Norse

(And, no, I did not add the link to Norse Course ;)

I encourage you to check this out and contribute to the
fields you are knowledgeable about. For example the article
on Norse Mythology has a number of inaccuracies and could
easily be improved by someone competent.

Kveðja,
Haukr
