There seems to be some confusion concerning what can be expected from the
act of writing and posting one's individual work.

It would be foolish (i.e., not wise) for anyone to suggest that we can gain
reasonable translation experience in ON by reading the awkward writings of
beginners!

The benefit to be expected by beginners posting their own writing is not to
be gained by READING the exercises of others so much as by WRITING one's
own. If you sit down to write something in ON, you have no choice but to
make an attempt to THINK in the language. Naturally, we are doomed to
failure - but the reward is in the doing - not the having.
