No. This is a _language_ list,
not a mythology list. The mythology
is only relevant in a context of
language translation.

This is a language question, or can
reasonably be addressed as one.
Off the top of my head, "Sig" is a common
element in words related
to victory; I don't know how one would get
"giver" from "gyn", but
of course I'm looking at the name in conventional
English spelling,
not the norse version. (I'm also pretty much a language
amateur;
this may be obvious to many other list memebers.)
