Me too! I only ordered Part 1, which I'm using with the readings and glossary in Gordon. So far so good. I'm currently working through the texts in 3.1.8. In some earlier exercises I couldn't find all the words in Gordon, so I used that online version of Zoega at http://www.northvegr.org/zoega/index002.html and found them in there. Of course if you have all the books, you shouldn't have that problem. I'm just mentioning it for those who don't.
The intro to Barnes says to begin working on a text (from Part II) as soon as possible: Hr�lfs saga kraka. I am assuming that what is in Gordon (p. 27) is the same? It could be a different excerpt? It begins "S��an f�r Bo�varr lei� s�na til Hlei�agards." What does yours have Gary? Of course, Gordon won't have the word for word commentary... But if I have questions, maybe your book will answer them. (-:
