Þakka þér fyrir það. Do you have access to a scanner? If so, I can
mail you a handwritten copy of the basic alphabet, a page showing
the spacial dimensions of the runes, and some sample texts written
in the runic characters. Once scanned and posted, members would be
able to transliterate the text into Latin characters. This could be
instructive, helping students to learn the basic Latin characters
used for Old Norse and Icelandic. Furthermore, both the vocabulary
and grammar of a text could be discussed, thus furthering learning.
Sample texts could include the chapters of Færeyinga Saga which we
have read together. Members could request other samples as well.

Kveðja,
Konráð.
