Hi Alfta!

Michael Barnes is my tutor! He's a lovely man, always willing to help
anyone serious about learning Old Norse. Sadly, he retires at the end
of this academic year. If only I could have all his wealth of knowledge
of ON transplanted into my brain before he goes...!!!

Yeah, I also had Michael Barnes as a tutor a number of years ago. He's a diamond geezer :-) And what he doesn't know about Scandinavian linguistics isn't worth knowing.
