It is my hope that these two groups can feed each other. The new
group is intended to enhance the learning process started here, as
well as foster and encourage beginners, such as myself, by giving an
open forum for discussions about language learning issues,
techniques, resources, and translation issues, all, as they relate to
Old Norse, Icelandic, and Anglo-Saxon languages. With your help, the
new group will join with this group in providing a rich set of
resources, both on and off the Internet, for learning Old Norse and/or
Anglo-Saxon.
