Adam,

I'm not sure, but I think an equivalent phrase would be 'be
quiet'.....'kyrr' in old norse (I hope and pray I'm remembering it
correctly!). Someone please correct me or put in a better phrase, I'm
always eager to learn new and proper ways to say things.
