Niörðr bað hann kveðia Frey máls.

Niord asked him to go and talk to Frey.

Þá mælti Skaði:

ok gakk at beiða

and go and ask

 

okkarn mála mög

to speak with our son

 

ok þess at fregna,

hveim enn fróði sé ofreiði afi.

with whom the wise,  fertile one is so teribly angry.
