Thanks for your reply!  You mention "other places" to learn (modern) Icelandic.  Do you mean Internet web sites?  I haven't been able to find any that foster discussion of the modern Icelandic language or literature.  Could you email me the URLs of these "places" that you spoke of?  Thanks!

No, it just means that in my case I was busy with my life...
And the answer is no. I'm learning ON as an adjunct to my Faith so that I
don't have to depend on cowan translators. Besides, there are other places to
learn Icelandic, there is only one real place to learn ON, and that is here...
